MILAN – On 19 September 1926, San Siro was opened for the first time.
Renamed the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in 1980, the famous stadium is today celebrating 90 years of memories and emotions tied irrevocably to the Nerazzurri colours.
On that first day back in 1926, the inauguration of the venue was celebrated with a friendly against rivals AC Milan, won 6-3 by the better half of the city.
Many happy returns to Inter's home, San Siro.
