We learn a bit more about the sides Inter will be facing in the group stage over the coming months

MONTECARLO - The Nerazzurri learned their 2016/17 Europa League fate when they were drawn in Group K alongside Sparta Prague, Southampton and Hapoel Be'er Sheva today.

Here's a brief introduction to our next European opponents.

Czech giants Sparta Prague reached the group stage by beating Danish side SonderjyskE in the play-offs.

They are coached by Zdenek Scasny, now in his second season at the helm.

Sparta play their home games at the Generali Arena.

Inter's record in eight previous matches against Sparta Prague is three wins, two draws and three defeats. The last meeting dates back to 1969, Roberto Boninsegna scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win.

Southampton were drawn from Pot 3. They're playing in the Europa League group stage for the first time following a sixth-place finish in the Premier League last term.

Claude Puel was brought in as their manager at the start of the season after guiding Nice to fourth in Ligue 1 in 2015/16.

The Saints' home ground is St. Mary's Stadium.

Inter have never played the Southampton in a competitive fixture before.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva complete Group K. The Israeli champions dropped into the Europa League after narrowly losing their Champions League play-off with Celtic (4-5 on aggregate)

Barak Bakhar is the coach of Be'er Sheva and Elyaniv Barda the captain.

The Camels play their home matches at Turner Stadium, a 16,000 all-seater arena.
