OSLO - A decent first-half showing and a debut assist for Ever Banega was scant consolation for Inter as they were undone by a rampant Tottenham side in Norway on Friday.
The Argentine star played in Ivan Perisic to level the scores midway through the first half after Harry Kane had converted an early penalty but an unstoppable Erik Lamela strike saw Spurs take a 2-1 lead in at half time.
The Nerazzurri tired after the break and Dele Alli, Kane, Vincent Janssen and Shay Harrison added further goals as Mauricio Pochettino's side ran out comfortable winners in the end.
