MILAN – After the adventure in the United States, the Inter Summer Tour 2016 has moved to Europe.
Oslo is the next destination, where Inter face Tottenham at Ullevaal Stadion on Friday 5 August at 17:00 CEST.
The friendly signals the beginning of the final phase of the Nerazzurri's pre-season and there are two more friendlies still to play after the Spurs test: Inter face Borussia Monchengladbach at the Stadio Cornero in Ancona on Wednesday 10 August and Celtic at Thomond Park in Limerick on Saturday 13 August – the final fixture of the International Champions Cup 2016.
It will be a special game against Mauricio Pochettino's side: the two clubs have crossed paths four times in the last six years, regularly serving up spectacular and exciting contests. Two that stand out in particular are the 4-3 win at San Siro in the Champions League 2010/11 group stages and the stunning effort to win 4-1 in the last 16 of the Europa League 2012/13, which almost clinched qualification to the next round.
