NEW JERSEY – Brazilian defender Joao Miranda spoke to journalists at the end of the Nerazzurri's training session at Montclair State University.
"I'm focusing on football and nothing else. Our coach is Roberto Mancini, we're working with him and we will continue to work together to reach our objective of the Champions League. We have to be at our best to hit that target.
"I want to win with this club. I'm happy here and I like my contract. I think it's difficult to win this league, difficult but not impossible. We will fight and give it our best show. Even when you only have one chance you have to fight.
"As for the Olympics, I'm happy here and I have to carry on working. It was a disappointing summer for Brazil at the Copa America but that's football. Things are changing now and we can do better. Wearing the armband was symbolic for me, I'll be a leader on and off the pitch."
