PORTLAND – Roberto Mancini's men face their second match on American soil this afternoon at 14:00 local time (23:00 CEST) as Inter line up against PSG in their debut outing of the ICC.
PSG were founded in 1970 and have won the last four Ligue 1 championships. Overall, they boast 28 domestic titles and on the international stage lifted the UEFA Cup in 1995/96 and the Intertoto Cup in 2001.
The Parisian club have a new man at the helm this season: Spanish coach Unai Emery guided his previous side Sevilla to three consecutive Europa League triumphs.
PSG also have a number of players familiar with Italian football in their ranks, including former Nerazzurri men Maxwell, who won three league titles and two Super Cups at Inter, and Thiago Motta, who in an 18-month spell at the club won the Coppa Italia twice, plus a Scudetto, Champions League, Italian Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Everything's set for Sunday at 14:00 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon – the home ground of university athletics team the Oregon Ducks.
