MANCINI: "LET'S KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK"

Coach chats to US media: "We must push on from here. We want to win. MLS is getting bigger every year"

PORTLAND - After overseeing training at the University of Portland on Monday, Roberto Mancini spoke to American reporters about Inter's forthcoming commitments in the States.

The Nerazzurri play Real Salt Lake on Tuesday night before visiting Autzen Stadium in Eugene for their first International Champions Cup match of the year against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

"It's a friendly tournament but whenever you get the likes of Inter and PSG going face to face, you want to win," the coach explained. "For me the main thing is we keep pushing ahead with the good work we've done so far.

"A few years back we built a team that won everything. We have a different team now and we can improve by working hard.

"We're missing a few players who were involved in the Copa America and the Euros but we'll try to do our best and win without them."

The boss also gave his views on the development of Major League Soccer.

"It's improved loads in the last five years and it will get bigger still. It's important to keep bringing in new players and good coaches to help the teams grow."
