RISCONE DI BRUNICO – A top-three finish is the 'minimum objective' for Inter this season according to Jonathan Biabiany.
Speaking after the friendly against WSG Wattens, the jet-heeled winger insisted we need to go at least one better than last year's fourth-place finish over the coming campaign.
“We got off to a great start last season. This time we need to be more consistent so that we can hit all our targets. Champions League qualification is the minimum objective – we must get that. We have a young, competitive team.”
The Frenchman also offered his views on the Nerazzurri's first pre-season friendly and the tactical set-up employed.
“It was important for us to keep building up our lung power and get a few more miles under our belts today and we did a good job of that.
“We're still working on 4-2-3-1 and I like it but I'm comfortable playing in lots of positions.
"As for playing with a three-man defence, we're working on various formations to make sure we're ready whenever we need to switch to something different.”
Finally, Biabiany revealed where he sees his own future: “I'm happy at Inter and I'm working hard to show I've got what it takes to be a part of this team.”
