MURILLO'S COLOMBIA IN COPA AMERICA QUARTERS

A 2-1 victory over Paraguay sees Los Cafeteros book their spot in the next round. The Inter defender played the whole game

PASADENA - Colombia are through to the Copa America quarter-finals after beating Paraguay on Tuesday night.

Carlos Bacca and James Rodriguez struck in the first half for Jeison Murillo's national side before Victor Ayala reduced the arrears after the break.

The result means Colombia sit top of Group A on six points and qualify for the knockout round with a game to spare.

The Nerazzurri centre-back played the full 90 minutes of the match.
