"EVERY GREAT JOURNEY BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP"

After many years of Inter Campus Israel/Palestine, we run the first coaching course with participants from both sides

It might seem normal but it isn't in the Holy Land. Not at all. Bringing together Israeli and Palestinian coaches in the same classroom to talk about technical and educational content of training sessions has never been easy here. In fact, it's never been possible here. I remember years ago in Nazareth, the coaches didn't want to share the same course, saying that I couldn't offer the same content to both.

Today, however, Ali, Gheisan, Homer and David were all together, interested and involved. They listened and asked questions, discussed things they weren't sure about in a polite, open way to try and understand how to run a good Inter Campus training session.

I viewed all this as a great success. It was 100 very intense minutes' work, which established a crucial starting point for our work on this project, a step almost unfathomable until recently. A special thank you goes to our partners Ghetton, Jasmine and Yasha.

From here we have to continue working and developing, just as the Chinese philosopher Loazi said: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." On we go, then.
