MILAN – Stefano Bellinzaghi has called for his Inter U15s side to stay focused ahead of their upcoming championship last-16 clash.
Inter sealed their place in the next round with a 3-0 win in each leg of their round-of-32 tie with Prato.
"We’re pleased to get the two wins and go through," the Nerazzurri boss told Inter Channel after the second leg. "The first leg was a bit more complicated because we weren’t so familiar with our opponents and we were playing on a smaller pitch, but the result we secured meant we could be a bit calmer going into the second leg. We showed professionalism and performed very well so we deserved the win."
Next up for the U15s is a last-16 tie with Pescara. The first leg is scheduled to take place in Pescara on Sunday 29 May, with the second leg set to be played a week later in Milan.
Bellinzaghi is keen for his side to keep their concentration levels high for the clash: "We will try to approach the tie with the same focus and desire to do well."
