MILAN – Roberto Samaden joined in the chorus of praise following the U19s' Coppa Italia victory over Juventus, lauding the work done by Primavera boss Stefano Vecchi and the Nerazzurri academy as a whole.
“It's a fantastic, deserved win in front of the San Siro faithful and the club by an exceptional group of lads," the Inter youth academy director began. "We're proud of them. I want to thank Stefano Vecchi and all the staff. Thanks to president Thohir too – he never stopped messaging me throughout the match.
"Vecchi is a top-quality coach who does a magnificent job with our boys. It was a great final – two closely contested matches against a great Juventus side. Lifting this trophy is further proof of the superb job our academy is doing."
