APPIANO GENTILE - InterNos is back tonight with special guest Jeison
Murillo. The Colombian defender appeared on Inter Channel to answer
questions sent in by the fans via social media.
"I was delighted when I heard Inter were interested in me. I could have joined sooner but the situation wasn't easy at Granada and they wanted to keep me until the end of the season.
"I'm pleased the fans are asking me to stay. I have a five-year contract and my focus must be solely on Inter and what the team have to do in order to give 100%."
Murillo hopes to follow in the footsteps of another illustrious Colombian defender who played for the Nerazzurri: "My hero as a kid was obviously Ivan Cordoba. I grew up watching him play for the national team. Loads of kids idolise Ivan not just in Colombia but Milan too. I would be delighted to enjoy a career like his."
Along with Miranda, Jeison is one half of a top-level centre back pairing: "João is first and foremost a top player and a great guy. He's very experienced and I try to learn as much as possible from him."
Frosinone are next up for Inter on Saturday afternoon. Murillo has fond memories of the opposition after bagging his first goal for the Nerazzurri in the reverse fixture: "It was a wonderful feeling and the first thing I thought to do when I celebrated was make a heart to dedicate it to my girlfriend. It will be a difficult game, Frosinone are a tough side. We have to be switched on and stay focused."
Murillo has shown he's equally comfortable as part of both a three- and four-man backline: "You have to be ready for anything, even during a game. It's all the same to me, I've been used to playing different systems ever since I was young. It all depends on the coach's ideas."
We also got to know what Jeison gets up to off the pitch: "I did well at school, I was the best in my class. I like music and dancing. If you ever go to Colombia, check out Cali, the home of salsa. I'm just a normal guy off the pitch, I spend my free time with my girlfriend."
