MILAN – There was a special moment in the build-up to Inter v Torino on Sunday evening as Inter Forever director Francesco Toldo, accompanied by Ivano Bordon and Sebastien Frey, awarded Luciano Castellini with a special half-and-half commemorative shirt in recognition of his career.
Castellini, a goalkeeper in his playing days, spent eight years at Torino, making over 200 appearances for the club, and is now part of the coaching staff at Inter. Indeed, having spent nearly 30 years with the Nerazzurri, in his role as goalkeeping coach he has discovered and developed many youth academy prospects.
