MILAN – Danilo D'Ambrosio has hailed the team spirit shown by Inter in sealing victory over Bologna this evening
"We've done brilliantly to regroup and get ourselves back on track," the Italian began. "We'll go a long way playing with this spirit. When you're winning games it's easier to train well without too much pressure. It was a massive win today and now we can go to Roma with a different mentality.
"We wanted three points and we managed to get them, although we knew it was going to be hard. Bologna have secured some great results against the big teams this year. We believe in our ability. We've always come in for criticism, even when we were top. It's up to us to stay level-headed."
The full-back was fundamental in the 2-1 win over Bologna, weighing in with a goal and an assist. Asked to explain his goal celebration and whether it was a response to criticism after the Juve defeat, he continued: "As I said before, we just have to stay level headed as a team and individually, giving our all whenever we're called upon."
