MILAN – Inter beat Sampdoria 3-1 on Saturday night thanks to goals from D’Ambrosio, Miranda and Icardi, with Quagliarella grabbing a late consolation goal for the visitors.

For the second time this Serie A season, Inter scored more than one goal in a home match.

No Serie A side have picked up fewer points than Sampdoria (9) over the course of the last 14 Serie A games – since Montella took over the reins.

Mauro Icardi has scored 11 goals from 19 shots on target this Serie A season.

Icardi has scored at least one goal in ten of the 14 games in which he’s managed a shot on target.
