BIABIANY: "WE STUCK TOGETHER AT A TOUGH TIME"

French winger interviewed by Inter Channel: "Win important for morale, for us and for the fans, and to keep us in the race for third place"

MILAN - Jonathan Biabiany has pointed to Inter's togetherness as one of the factors that helped the team come good and beat Sampdoria in tonight's crunch match.

The Nerazzurri beat Vincenzo Montella's side after spending part of the week gathered together at the training ground, which the winger feels helped the team find their focus and bond even further as a group.

"It did us good. We stuck together at what was a difficult time," the Frenchman told Inter Channel after the final whistle. "The main thing today was picking up the three points to get us back in the race for third place.

"It was important for us to start winning again for morale too and to put a smile back on the faces of all the fans who get behind us.

"Getting the first goal opened the game up. It gave us a lift and it helped us play well the rest of the game."
