ZANETTI: "PICK OURSELVES UP AND GET GOING AGAIN"

Vice president chats to Mediaset Premium before kick-off against Sampdoria: "We've had a few problems in recent outings. We must get going again"

MILAN – Javier Zanetti says Inter are determined to get back on track by beating Sampdoria tonight.

A win would edge the Nerazzurri back within touching distance of Fiorentina awaiting the matches on Sunday but the vice president insists they are focusing solely on themselves.

Speaking to Mediaset Premium shortly before kick-off in tonight's game, the vice president explained: "Regardless of what Fiorentina do tomorrow, this game is important for us because we need to get ourselves out of the rut and start winning again.

"We've had a few problems in recent outings and that's seen us lose the defensive solidity we had before. We need to find it again by attacking and defending as a single unit so that we can pick up three crucial points tonight and get going again. All that matters at the moment is picking ourselves up."

Jose Mourinho is back at the San Sito tonight for the first time in years. "I often speak to him and it's nice to see him again after all the time – for our fans too. He can come here at any time. He's a true Inter fan and he's here to support the team."
