MOGLIANO VENETO – Saturday 7 February wasn’t just any old night on the streets of Mogliano Veneto. There was just cause for celebration in the air, as Inter Club Mogliano Veneto was marking 50 years since its foundation.
To celebrate the occasion, Club president Maurizio Tortato had organised for over 200 members to come together to relive half a century of Inter – and Inter Club Mogliano Veneto, of course.
There were an array of familiar faces attending the event: from the likes of Evaristo Beccalossi, Giancarlo Pasinato and Gianfelice Facchetti to Treviso regional president Leonardo Muraro and local politician Stefano Stefani. Also present were some of Inter Club Mogliano Veneto’s founding members and several past presidents. The Club is No.1 in the world for junior members, and so it was only fitting that many young Nerazzurri fans were there too.
Over the course of the event, a host of special awards were handed out to those who had contributed to the growth of the Club, while later on in the evening attendees were treated to a sneak peek at Lucio Carraro’s book Una Storia Speciale (A Special Story), which tells the tale of the interlinked histories of Inter Club Bruno Negri and Inter Club Mogliano Veneto.
