VERONA – Mauro Icardi, scorer of Inter's second goal today, cut a frustrated figure in his post-match analysis of Hellas Verona 3-3 Inter.
"We caused our own problems conceding three goals from two corners and a free-kick. We should have done better. We knew they're strong at set pieces and in the end that's exactly how they hurt us.
"Before we'd be leading games 1-0 and in total control. We've created more chances recently and played well but we have to improve on all fronts – in defence and in attack.
"We know what we're capable of doing, now we have to work hard to put ourselves in the best possible shape for next Sunday."
