DOHA - Gianmario Corti's Under 17 Serie A and B comfortably beat Shanghai Shenhua 7-0 in their opening match of the Al Kass International Cup.
Zate Wilfried Gnoukouri opened the scoring from close range on 10 minutes. Sala then doubled the Nerazzurri's lead on 17 minutes, catching the opposition goalkeeper out from 25 yards. Ten minutes later, Gnoukouri had his second from Vitali's pass. Luka Kerin added a fourth shortly after the half-hour mark with a powerful effort into the roof of the net.
On 55 minutes, captain Celeghin found the bottom corner from level with the penalty spot, before Nolan bagged the sixth heading home at the back post from a corner. Russo put the gloss on the result with a seventh in stoppage time, beating four players and smashing home at the near post.
The Nerazzurri will next be in action on Monday 8 February (kick-off 18:45 local time).
