MILAN - Following the Christmas break, it's once again full steam ahead at the four sites in Dammam that are part of the Inter Academy Sporti Saudi Arabia network. The growing exposure of the project has seen a boom in the number of youngsters and Saudi coaches involved. There are currently 15 coaches and more than 250 footballers.
There are two big competitions coming up in the shape of the ARAMCO Cup, a tournament run by the national Saudi oil company, and a charity international trophy in nearby Bahrain. These two events will allow the coaches to see how much the kids have progressed.
