EDER: "I'VE BEEN MADE TO FEEL WELCOME"

Inter's new striker on the win against Chievo Verona: "It's great when you work for the team and get the victory"

MILAN – Next up to comment on the Nerazzurri's win over Chievo Verona in Week 23 was Eder, who also revealed he's delighted with the way he's been welcomed at the club.

"We wanted to win today and we put in a great performance," the new Nerazzurri signing declared to Inter Channel, "although we didn't do that badly against AC Milan. Until the penalty we were doing better than them, but then the match changed.

"We knew it wouldn't be easy against Chievo," Eder said returning to tonight's encounter. "Italian football is complicated, especially when teams put so many players behind the ball.

"As for my first goal, scoring is important but when you work hard for the team and you pick up victories, it's pleasing all the same.

"Both the club and the guys have welcomed me really well. I'm pleased because from the very first day they've made me right feel at home."
