TURIN - Roberto Mancini stepped up for his media duties after the Nerazzurri's Coppa Italia semi-final defeat to Juventus.
"It was an even game with Juventus holding a slightly higher line," the manager began. "They took the lead through a penalty, then sat back waiting for us and made it 2-0 from a mistake of ours. Once we went a man light, it was of course much harder.
"Juventus deserved to win yet it was a strange game. I think 3-0 is a bit excessive but that's football for you. We could have been more incisive in the final third, although we did manage to play the game we wanted.
“Obviously it's going to be tough to turn the tie around after this result. We'll be without Miranda and Murillo so we'll have to come up with something.
“Juventus caused problems for us but I don't really remember any great saves by Handanovic.
“It's true that this is our toughest time of the season so far but all teams go through spells like this. We just need to stay calm and keep working away. That's the only way we can get ourselves back on track.
“Eder? If he were to join us I think he could give us a big hand in the league."
