AUSILIO: "KEEPING AN EYE ON THE MARKET"

The Inter sporting director speaks from Naples: "It's only right Inter are linked to good players. We're looking at a number of options"

NAPLES - Sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Raisport about the January transfer window moments before Napoli v Inter: "It makes sense to link good players with Inter but that doesn't mean they're the right ones. I've already admitted we're in talks over Guarin and if that deal goes through we'd definitely need a top player to replace him.

"We're weighing up a few options with the coach but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be a midfielder. I've not ruled out other names, we're keeping an eye on everything. We definitely can't sign a non-EU player. Guarin is still currently an Inter player, let's wait and see what happens."

A lot has been written about Soriano: "Try and convince Ferrero, it's not exactly easy. I have to get in line with what he's saying and think about alternatives."

Mancini has been linked to the national team: "Besides Inter, it's only right that the biggest clubs around the world and the national team look at a top coach like Mancini. He's at Inter though and we want to hang onto him."
