BERGAMO - Adem Ljajic expressed his disappointment after the Nerazzurri dropped two points at Atalanta today and said Inter aren't creating enough in attack
First wanted to say a word on the previous match, though. Speaking to Inter Channel in Bergamo, he said: "I'd like to go back to the Sassuolo game. We played well but didn't win and I take responsibility for that because I made lots of mistakes."
Moving onto today's 1-1 against Atalanta, he continued: "It was a tough game on a bad pitch – that shouldn't be an excuse though because we didn't play well. We put everything we had into it and tried to win but couldn't. Atalanta defended really well and it was hard to find space. We need to create more in the final third."
The Serbian then commented on his position and Inter's current form: "I don't mind where I play. I was in behind the front two today and I helped out in midfield but I enjoy it.
"We need to be winning games like this. I'm angry because we didn't win. We're having a bit of an 'off' spell at the moment. We need to try harder and be even more determined out there to try and win every match."
Possibly starting with Tuesday's Coppa Italia tie with Napoli: "We have an important game coming up on Tuesday and we must look ahead to that."
