MILAN – Stefano Vecchi and his Primavera side visited children and young adults being treated on the cardiology wards at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato hospital in Milan on Wednesday afternoon. The visit is one of many initiatives promoted by the Italian Association of Adult Congenital Heart Disease Patients (AICCA) and aimed at raising public awareness around congenital heart disease.
With Inter a club that has always supported an array of social causes, the Primavera spent time handing over donations and helping to put a smile on the faces of those people who face Christmas in hospital. It was a memorable afternoon for the Nerazzurri youngsters, and a moment’s welcome relief for the patients.
