APPIANO GENTILE – Training took on a different form at a foggy Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this morning, with players from the first team and the U21s facing off in an in-house practise match.
After a warm-up to kick things off, the teams were mixed up and played two halves of 30 minutes each. Both sides played with a lot of intensity and created numerous chances. A goal in each half from Enrico Baldini in the 3rd minute and Loris Zonta in the 36th minute settled the game in the Yellows' favour.
After conceding early on in the first half, the Blues tried to get back into the game, with Mauro Icardi and Jonathan Biabiany creating a few openings. At half-time, the teams were changed up a bit again but soon after Zonta doubled the advantage, finishing off a lovely move in front of goal.
Alex Telles came closest to nicking one back for the Blues, first with a left-footed strike and then with a header from a corner, but the result didn't change at the final whistle.
