LJAJIC: "KEEP GOING, ONE GAME AT A TIME"

Striker hopes for more of the same following a special night against his ex-team: "We're playing well, we're not conceding and we're all pulling our weight"

MILAN - Adem Ljajic feels the Nerazzurri were good value for their win over Roma this evening and explained why when he spoke to Inter Channel after full time.

"We couldn't wait for this game. Roma are a great team with excellent players. We knew we'd come under the cosh at certain times of the match but we got the goal and won it, that's the main thing. Perisic and I knew we had to help out in defence as well. We moved well between the lines when we were in possession and caused problems for them," the 24-year-old said.

Inter v Roma was of course no ordinary match for the Serb. "I was training with them up until two months ago and some of them are good friends of mine. I can't forget the two years I spent in Rome but I'm at Inter now - this is my team and I have to give my all for these colours," he said.

On the Nerazzurri's return to the top of the league: "We're playing well, we're not conceding and we're all pulling our weight. We just need to take one game at a time then we'll see at the end."
