PALERMO - Stevan Jovetic reflected on two points dropped in Sicily after Inter's 1-1 draw with Palermo.
The striker told Inter Channel: "I'm really sorry we didn't win tonight. I think we played well. Their keeper was magnificent: he pulled off three or four great saves. We still tried to win even when we found ourselves down to ten men but couldn't manage it. Now we have to think about Tuesday and make up for it against Bologna.
"I'm here to help the team and I'm happy to do a different job every game if it means the opposition don't know what to expect from me. I'm glad we managed to score from that move I started. It's a shame we couldn't score more but Sorrentino really was the star tonight I think."
On his fitness: "I feel quite good. I did a lot of running today and we have another game in three days' time. I'll try to rest a bit more and recover as best I can."
On chipping in with defensive duties: "Sometimes when we're in trouble I drop back to help out the team but I like being closer to the goal. The gaffer told me to stay behind Mauro and drop deep to collect the ball and help the rest of the team."
