DODO: "I'M GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME"

Brazilian full-back on the comeback trail: "It feels good to play at San Siro again - where I got injured - and win tonight"

MILAN - Dodo was happy to get another 45 minutes under his belt in the Berlusconi Trophy tonight as he works his way back to full fitness following a long injury layoff.

"I'm doing well and I'm better now thanks to the games I've played with the Primavera," he began. "I had a long spell on the sides so it's important for me to get back into my match rhythm. It feels good to come back and play at San Siro, which is where I got injured, and win. My knee's fine. I'll be ready soon."

Apart from the win, there were plenty of other positives to take from the friendly with with the Rossoneri and the Brazilian said the Nerazzurri can be happy with the performances of their youth players.

"We played well tonight and all the lads did well, even the younger ones. We have a very good team and we've got off to an excellent start. Hopefully we can go on picking up points now."
