MILAN - This morning it was the turn of Nerazzurri midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia and Club Manager Dejan Stankovic to follow in the footsteps of many of their team-mates by visiting the Universal Exposition.

The two Inter representatives visited both the Indonesia and Central African Republic Pavilions, where Kondogbia shared the excitement of his first visit to Expo: "It’s a real pleasure to visit this space, which is dedicated to where my family are from. I still feel a real bond with the Central African Republic."

Kondogbia also spoke about Sunday’s Serie A match against Juventus: "Not going away on international duty gave me the chance to work hard and be prepared for the game."

Kondogbia and Stankovic then visited the Indonesia Pavilion, where they were able to discover the many facets of the Indonesian archipelago, from the azure waters of the ocean to the country’s local traditions and typical foods.

During their time in the Indonesia Pavilion, Dejan Stankovic found time to speak to the press: "The Derby d’Italia is a game you always want to win and Roberto has plenty of players to choose from now that they’re coming back from international duty. We’re above Juve in the table and we need to assume the responsibility that comes with being favourites and play with a clear head and lots of passion."

As a former player, Stankovic knows all about the contest: "I’ve played against Juve many times. I remember that amazing goal by Maicon, where he did a few kick-ups on the edge of the box before smashing it home. This is the hardest thing about not playing. But it’ll be a great match, a hard-fought match, with a good mix of technique, tactics, mental strength and heart."
