SHANGHAI – Inter Forever took some time out from their Winning League International Legends Championship commitments to visit Shanghai today.
After overcoming FPA Barcelona in a shootout in the semi-final yesterday, this morning the team visited the headquarters of the tournament's main sponsor and an artifical pitch set up near Hongkou Stadium, where fans had the chance to meet the Nerazzurri legends in person and have their photos taken with them.
In the afternoon the former Nerazzurri stars headed downtown to take in the local sights. Francesco Toldo, Javier Zanetti and Co. took a cruise along the Huangpu river offering them a close-up view of the Pudong district – which many people call the 'New Manhattan' – with its many skyscrapers and the impressive Oriental Pearl Tower.
Tomorrow evening a gala dinner has been organised for all the teams competing in the tournament before Saturday's main event: the final between Inter Forever and Real Madrid Leyendas!
