VERONA - Fredy Guarin lauded the die-hard spirit shown by Inter today to overcome a fierce team in difficult playing conditions.
"It was hard today from a physical perspective because it was really hot," the Colombian began. "We know we have to keep going till the final whistle and fortunately we managed to do that today. There are no easy games, they're all difficult.
"Chievo have some really tough-tackling midfielders who chase down every ball and never stop running, but we dug deep and found the strength to keep playing and fighting for balls till the end."
The midfielder concluded: "The best thing is that we keep on winning. I think we showed our maturity as a team to stay focused at all times on the pitch. We never let up."
