VERONA - He played a big hand in Inter's success at Chievo today, his clipped delivery enabling Mauro Icardi to score what proved to be the winner, but afterwards Geoffrey Kondogbia was quick to stress that "It was a team effort, not just my own performance. It was important to get that goal in the first half as it set us on track."
The midfielder went on to say he feels there will be more to come from Inter once all the new players gel together as a team: "We're getting to know each other and improving our understanding with every day we train together. I'm sure we'll keep getting better with each game."
