MANCINI: "GOOD START, BUT IT’S A LONG SEASON"

The Nerazzurri boss spoke to the press at the Brooks Brothers event this evening: "It won’t be easy against Chievo, they’re one of the most in-form teams around"

MILAN – Attending an event organised by Brooks Brothers this evening to present the new club suit for the 2015/16 season, Inter coach Roberto Mancini looked back on the derby and spoke about his side’s impressive start to the season.

"After the derby I just said well done to the lads. It’s never easy to beat AC Milan in the derby. We’re happy but that doesn’t mean we’ll go to Verona convinced it’s going to be an easy game. Chievo are one of the most in-form teams in the league," declared Mancini.

Asked whether Inter could win the Scudetto, Mancini replied: "Two years ago Roma won ten games on the spin but didn’t win the league. Starting well is important, but there’s a long season ahead. We’ve done some great work and we want to keep it up."
