MARCO MONTI VISITS SOUTH AMERICA FOR INTER ACADEMY

The development strategy continues with visits to Brazil and Argentina for the Inter Academy Technical Director

MILAN – Inter Academy Technical Director Marco Monti has flown to South America as the Nerazzurri initiative continues its development drive around the world.

Monti began his stay in Brazil, where he was finalising details for the launch of the project in Brazil. Starting from October, a network of 27 soccer schools across 11 states will form the basis for an initiative that hopes to build a training and technical specialisation centre in Sao Paulo in the near future.

Monti will then visit the Argentine cities of Cordoba and Buenos Aires, where – thanks to the mediation of Inter vice president Javier Zanetti – he will meet potential partners, clubs and interested investors.

Inter Academy’s goal is to export the Nerazzurri youth academy model to the rest of the world. With Inter’s youth set-up one of the most decorated and well-organised in the world, interest is surging in South America, where football is already practiced to a high level. This shows that Inter’s strategy of proposing top-quality programmes is bearing fruit.
