NERAZZURRI FAMILY STAND A HUGE SUCCESS

The special area in first tier Orange is reserved for families and children. Next up the derby!

MILAN – The Family Stand is proving to be a great success among young Interisti and their parents.

With the derby coming up next, there’s another fantastic opportunity for Nerazzurri families to experience the match in an exclusive and exhilarating way.

The new area at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza specially designated by F.C. Internazionale for families is located in the first tier Orange between sectors 149 and 154. The stand almost completely sold out its capacity for Inter’s first home match against Atalanta.

The Family Stand is equipped with highly qualified stewards and a specific entrance: Gate 1a. There are also loads of activities on offer that will get your little ones involved before every game. For the fixture against Atalanta, we had Nerazzurri face painting, freestyle football spectacles and the opportunity for kids to take home a picture of them scoring a virtual goal against Samir Handanovic!

Venue Commercial Director David Garth had this to say on the initiative’s good start: "As soon as we opened the Family Stand, the response we received straight away was fantastic. It’s great to see so many children and families coming to the stadium and enjoying the match in such a new and special way. If you saw the reaction of all the young Inter fans to Jovetic’s goal against Atalanta, you’d realise what coming here means for them. We’re expecting just the same at the derby!"

Season tickets in the Family Stand can be bought online here for the special price of €450, which is a package deal including two tickets. A limited number of seats will also be made available on the day of the games.

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is one of UEFA’s 5 Star Category Stadiums and is renowned for being one of the safest in Italy. The stadium will host the final of the Champions League this season on 28 May 2016.

In order to provide the best environment for the crowning occasion of Europe’s premier club competition, the matchday service for fans has been vastly improved. This includes rebuilding the main hygiene facilities, updating the hospitality sector and removing some of the barriers surrounding the pitch.

The ultimate aim is to make watching football games at the San Siro an even more enjoyable experience for our fans, in a totally safe and welcoming atmosphere.
