ANCONA - Rey Manaj was one of the brighter notes in tonight's 0-0 draw with AEK. The 18-year-old replaced Gary Medel with 15 minutes left on the clock and twice went close to grabbing a winner in the finale.
After the final whistle he spoke to Inter Channel about the game and how he's settling in at the club.
"The keeper did really well to race out and block my effort on that second chance. It's such a shame," he rued.
The youngster went on to reveal how keen he is to develop his own game with the help of his more experienced team-mates.
"I need to get my head down and train well because from here on in the games really matter. There's a fantastic team spirit here and the guys have really helped me. I'm trying to pick up things from everyone because they're all more experienced than I am. Having said that, once you're out there, age doesn't matter."
