SHANGHAI – Federico Dimarco has revealed his delight at being able to test himself against some of the world's best footballers on Inter's China tour.
Speaking after the 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in Shanghai today, the 17-year-old Nerazzurri academy product declared: "It's incredibly motivating when you find yourself playing against a team like Bayern but they do make you run more! You're faced by players with ten years' Champions League experience who have got everything: they're strong, fast and skilful.
"I really enjoyed pitting my wits against these world-class players and I really want to improve. This experience is a dream come true for me. The coach is giving me a hand with lots of advice. I'll try to do my best to repay him for his confidence in me."
