INTER SET FOR RETURN TO CHINA

From 18 to 28 July the Nerazzurri will head to the People's Republic on a fascinating journey of discovery, strengthening a unique bond which began 37 years ago

MILAN -  "F.C. Internazionale is about to set off on a fantastic adventure across a fascinating country. China is a land that Inter know well, where the people have always shown incredible enthusiasm for the Nerazzurri and football in general – a sport which is becoming increasingly popular throughout the country. "

Nerazzurri CEO Michael Bolingbroke is as excited as everyone else at the club about Inter's forthcoming 2015 summer tour – due to begin on 18 July – which will see Roberto Mancini's team lock horns with some of the world's biggest clubs as they build up towards the 2015/16 Serie A kick-off.

He added: "China offers Roberto Mancini and his players the opportunity to fine-tune their pre-season preparations against first-rate opposition in top-class stadiums packed with fervent fans. They'll also be able to learn about Chinese culture and traditions on what promises to be an unforgettable experience for all concerned."

The tour is sure to be an enthralling journey of discovery through ancient cultural sites and unique traditions, further strengthening a bond which began 37 years ago and adding another chapter to the story of the People's Republic of China and F.C. Internazionale.

Over the coming weeks the Nerazzurri will visit three cities to play three matches, two of which in the International Champions Cup - a competition Inter will be playing in for the fourth time.

Inter's first game is a friendly against German giants Bayern Munich as part of the Audi Football Summit Shanghai on Tuesday 21 July, a rematch of the Champions League final of 22 May 2010 which saw the Nerazzurri cap off a historic treble.

Next stop is Shenzhen on Saturday 25 July for the first Milan Derby of the year, the second time the Nerazzurri have met the Rossoneri on Chinese soil. It's bound to be an immensely popular event that will bring together football lovers from every corner of the country.

Finally, Roberto Mancini will take his squad to Guangzhou for another stellar encounter with ten-time European champions Real Madrid on Monday 27 July.
