MILAN – Four is forever. Javier Zanetti's No.4, that is. And it was back at the San Siro on Saturday night.
Officially retired by the club in recognition of the extraordinary legacy left by the former skipper, the No.4 shirt was handed to the Nerazzurri vice president by Francesco Toldo before Inter v Juventus to officially welcome him into the Inter Forever fold.
Far from disappearing from circulation, the Nerazzurri No.4 jersey will continue to grace pitches around the world every time Zanetti turns out with Inter Forever.
