MILAN – Nerazzurri midfielder Hernanes spoke to Inter Channel after today’s draw with Chievo at San Siro and there was no hiding his disappointment with the result: "I don’t really feel like talking. You can’t waste a match like that. We knew Chievo would come here to hang back and play on the counter.
"They had eight men behind the ball, it was like a wall. We’re bitterly disappointed with the draw. The only way we were going to break the deadlock was with a corner or free-kick. We hit the post and looked threatening on set plays with Vidic. Palacio was dangerous, but they would have three or four men around us straight away.
"It was a really difficult match. We were coming off the back of a good run but we always knew it was going to be tough for us. We need to be prepared for this type of match and need to focus on finding a way to get past such a defensive display. The positive side is that we’ve got 11 points from a possible 15. Let’s hope for the best in our other matches," declared Hernanes.
