MILAN – It was an extra special derby day for three lucky Nerazzurri fans thanks to Inter Forever and Pirelli, as they took on some of their sporting heroes in a Formula 1 simulator speed challenge.
The authors of the three tweets picked out by Francesco Toldo took on Hernan Crespo, Giuseppe Baresi, David Suazo, Massimo Paganin, Fabio Galante and Roberto Boninsegna, attracting swathes of fans mingling in anticipation of the big match. There was also the chance to sign up for the Pirelli Driver competition.
The contest then moved to the Pirelli Performance Area, which will be at San Siro until the end of the season, with Benito Carbone, Arturo Di Napoli, Dario Morello, Lambros Choutos and Toldo himself all giving it a whirl.
Finally, the group – which was joined by Javier Zanetti, Nicola Berti, Nazzareno Canuti, Antonio Manicone and Fausto Pizzi – met with Inter president Erick Thohir, who was keen to greet the Nerazzurri legends before kick-off in the derby.
