APPIANO GENTILE – The Nerazzurri were put through a lengthy afternoon session today as Roberto Mancini leaves no stone unturned in his bid to get his men in tip-top shape for tomorrow's derby.
Handy Soetedjo, who arrived at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti shortly before training started, watched on from the sideslines in the company of Javier Zanetti and Piero Ausilio.
Mancini initially split his troops into two groups, alternating between drills on technique and tactics. Afterwards the two contingents reassembled for a series of training games, with Sylvinho and Fausto Salsano egging them on, followed by an intense fitness phase. The workout was then rounded off with a practice match.
