MILAN – The Inter Giovanissimi Regionali side went out of the Mediterranean International Cup 2015 after losing a penalty shootout to Aspire Football Dreams in the quarter-finals.
Selomon Mangiarotti had given Marco Mandelli's U14s the lead on 15 minutes before the Qataris equalised after the break. Still level after 90 minutes, it went to the lottery of penalties to determine who would progress to the semi-finals and Aspire FD came out on top (5-3).
