RANOCCHIA UNUSED SUB FOR ITALY AGAINST BULGARIA

Nerazzurri defender watches from the bench as the Azzurri draw 2-2 in Euro 2016 Qualifying Group H

SOFIA - Italy drew 2-2 with Bulgaria in a European Championship qualifier this evening, with Andrea Ranocchia an unused substitute.

The Azzurri went in front after four minutes through a Minev own goal but the Bulgarians quickly turned the tables with goals by Popov (11) and Micanski (17). Eder then grabbed an 84th-minute equaliser to maintain Italy's unbeaten record in Group H intact.
