#TWEETOFFRACISM, KALLON'S MESSAGE

"We're working to eradicate racial discrimination." The former Nerazzurri striker spoke to Inter Channel

MILAN - FC Internazionale met with hundreds of youngsters on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination to send out its own message against prejudice.

Mohamed Kallon, Daniele Bernazzani and Paolo Orlandoni spoke during the third edition of TweetOffRacism. The event was organised at the Lido di Milano on Monday 23 March by non-profit organisation Comunità Nuova as part of the 'Io tifo positivo' project.

The former Sierra Leone forward, who sat at the ex-players' table, spoke to Inter Channel: "I played in Italy and experienced racist chanting. It's not nice and I still struggle to understand the reasons behind it. We're doing everything we can to defeat this issue. Everyone has the right to play without any problems."

The old Nerazzurri number 3 also spoke about his return to the San Siro and the Inter Forever project: "It was an amazing feeling to step back out onto the turf at the Meazza. I didn't expect such a great ovation. I would also like to thank Francesco Toldo and the Inter Forever staff for giving me the chance to wear the Nerazzurri colours once again. It's a fantastic idea to bring so many former Inter players together."
