RIVA DEL GARDA – Benoit Cauet’s Allievi Nazionali side kicked off their Trofeo Città di Arco - Beppe Viola adventure with a goalless draw against Nordsjaelland this afternoon.
The Nerazzurri were up against it until half-time, with the Danes’ Johansson even missing a penalty, but came out fighting in the second half and were unlucky not to make the breakthrough.
There was a penalty shootout after the match, to be taken into consideration only if the teams are on level points at the end of the group stages. The Danes came out on top from the spot.
In the other Group B match, Lazio and Torino played out a 2-2 draw.
