WOLFSBURG - Down but ready to pick himself straight back up again. That was Juan Pablo Carrizo as he spoke to Inter Channel after this evening's Europa League match at Wolfsburg, answering questions in a somewhat despondent mood.
"Sadly mistakes are part and parcel of the game, even the world's best players make them," he began. "I made a mistake and I'm obviously not happy about it because up until that point we were playing well.
"I think we have reason to be confident though, given that they only took the lead because of an individual mistake. It was my fault tonight but I'm not going to let it get to me. I feel I have everyone's backing. We'll give it our best shot in the return leg. We can do it."
